Ice Bucket!

My dad grinning at his Christmas morning ice-bucket gift.
Yay, an ice bucket for Christmas!

My dad, after years of being ice-bucket-less, has now been en-bucketed. It was a glorious day in the Clark household.

Yup, that's pretty much my family.

Dave, I must say that you are taking some great photos. You must have a DSLR if you are trying out lenses. Mind indulging the make model?

Max! Great to hear from you. Thanks very much for the compliment. :)

I must first say that your camera doesn't matter! (Really, read that -- it's an amazing article.)

That said, I have a Nikon D40x with the amazing Nikon Nikkor 18-200mm lens on it. I love the D40x, because it's very light and easy to take with me. The lens has a huge zoom ratio, which makes it a nice all-purpose lens.

But, I used to have a cheap Sony pocketcam, and it worked great -- took some of the photos in my "favorites" category using it. Then, it died from too much abuse...

OK, over to your blog now. I have a few things to say there, too.
