Cliff Swamp, Try 2
The Cliffs, in Black and White
Thanks to all for the help with the last incarnation of this photo. I've given it a high-contrast black-and-white treatment -- I really like this version much more than the highly colorful version before. Enjoy!
@Jain: Thanks so much! :) Now that I think about it, this B&W version makes me think of the old B&W postcards of this exact same area -- classic photos of the old mine and cliffs.
I can see the draw of the B&W as an artistic piece. But I'm still amazed by the color in the original photo. Makes me think I'm looking at the real thing, not a photo.
I love this photo and am looking for one that shows the contrast between the swamp and the high ground. I was wondering if you would allow me to use this for a phd panel presentation next month?

I said "Wow!" out loud when I clicked into your blog and saw this photo. Agreed - the B&W version is really rich!

I liked the color too, but agree this black and white is more dramatic.

Hi,
I love this photo and am looking for one that shows the contrast between the swamp and the high ground. I was wondering if you would allow me to use this for a phd panel presentation next month?
Thanks
