29/365 - Study #2
Click the photo to see it on Flickr.
Today, I'm continuing my quest to thoroughly photograph a single, everyday object around me: a second photo of the same object as yesterday (Study #1). This one is much more concrete (and texturiffic!), but can you guess?

Ice houses, beards grow as Tech carnival nears
HOUGHTON, Mich. - A couple-hundred inches of snow each winter aren't enough to keep Michigan Technological University students down.
This year's Winter Carnival includes the All-Nighter on Wednesday to complete work on snow sculptures that have been under construction for a month at the school in Michigan's far northern Upper Peninsula.
This year's theme is "Games We Know in a World of Snow." Events include a human sled dog race, snow volleyball and ice bowling, in which a team tosses a saucer with one person aboard toward the pins.
There's also a race in which participants have a ski on one foot and a snowshoe on the other.
The Winter Carnival Queen contest is Saturday and the beard-growing competition judging is Thursday.
